Sessions for health and wellbeing support are available Monday–Friday, from 10:30am to 2:30pm, both at our centre and out in the community, including stables. All activities, including social community activities, are adapted to individual abilities, interests, and needs, with a focus on providing specialist support for autism.
Cooking, food preparation, and healthy eating are essential components of health and wellbeing support. Budgeting, money management, and shopping skills help individuals participate in social community activities. Developing independent living skills ensures safety at home, including cleaning and household tasks. Travel training and using public transport are vital for fostering independence. Additionally, understanding rights, choices, and decision-making is crucial, especially for those in need of specialist support for autism.
Engage in group activities, games, crafts, and creative arts that promote health and wellbeing support. Enjoy community visits to parks, libraries, cafes, and shops, as well as leisure centres that offer various social community activities. Participate in sports, exercise, and wellbeing activities like walking, swimming, yoga, and relaxation. Explore gardening, nature, and outdoor activities while receiving specialist support for autism. Focus on enhancing social skills, communication, and building friendships.
Mental health support and overall health and wellbeing support, including emotional wellbeing and coping skills, are essential for understanding feelings and managing anxiety and stress. Engaging in social community activities can enhance healthy relationships, establish boundaries, and promote safety. Additionally, keeping active and looking after physical health, along with accessing specialist support for autism, is crucial for maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
We offer health and wellbeing support for individuals with autism and sensory needs, along with specialist support for autism that addresses behavior that challenges. Our training includes safeguarding and safety awareness, as well as providing support around relationships, abuse awareness, and staying safe through engaging social community activities.
